The new firmware (2.30.196) to patch the “authentication bypass vulnerability” has been available as a manual download for about a week, My system auto-updated on 9/27. That’s great, but I found no indication of that at wd.com when I went looking for the reason my PR2100 was flashing the blue power light. It would have been useful for me to know that 24 hours ago when I went looking.
