Need some help with my "wd my passport"

Hello I have problem with my passport… I have windows 7 X64. And bought last week wd my passport essentil 2.0 HDD
now when I plug in the device the computer recognize him but doesn’t show him in my computer folder.
now I tried to install drivers and  WD smartware… And still the computer says that he recognize the device but I still don’t see him in my computer folder…
Suggestions anybody…?
