I receved a HDD from a friend to copy some files over. When I plugged the HDD in i got this error.

May just need a driver. But I can’t find one anywhere.
What OS are you using? A drive formatted for a Mac will not be visible on Windows.

Using windows 7. May be the problem… Any solution without deleting the data?
Anyone? I’d like to figure this out.
I don’t know if there is any free software that will work to make it usable. Does the drive show in Disk Management and what does it say? Here are some third party programs to investigate http://www.macwindows.com/disks2.html

Also installing Mac Drive did not let me access the hard drive. Not sure what to do now…
