Need help changing settings on N900central router

Hi. My router is connected to an Arris TG1672 modem. It has been determined that the router is bogging me down and it was suggested that changing the router settings will fix this problem. I would appreciate any help you could offer in how to change the settings properly to achieve the best speed possible. Thank you!! -Rick

Well, I would assume that the process of determining that the router is at fault would tell you what settings are needing changed?

TWC told me I need to contact WD for that info. WD told me to go into the website but Im having trouble.

All TWC did was determine that their modem was not at fault, by running some tests. My thought is that there is a compatibility issue since the modem has a built in router. Thing is, I don’t want to use their router.
