For some reason, I no longer have the driver for a WD My Passport external harddrive on my pc anymore. As such, My Passport is not listed among the devices in Computer in Windows 7 and I can no longer open it. Is there anywhere safe and reliable where I can obtain the appropriate driver for this external harddrive?

You should be able to get all the software for the My Passport from the Downloads Tab on the WD Community web page. Select the proper version of your drive and then download software shown. Also might find help in some of FEQs shown.
