Hi, After downloading and installing the security software for the WD My Book Duo (as recommended by email support at WD), I stupidly added a password.
Since then I have had the computer rebuilt.
After a period of to having to click on a link to unlock the drive, the pc rebuild has resulted in the password hint (‘playing up’), and even thou I know what the hint would mean/say, it is NOT unlocking the drive.
I am not in the position to erase the drive.
Can anyone recommend a good data recovery business for home users.
Perhaps even chain of businesses
I have seen one (recommended by WD), but they are a fair distance and CBD based.
