N90 Central 2TB clicking sound

I have a new N900 central 2tb updated to the newest firmware, the device seems to click every few minutes. Sounds like the hard drive going to sleep, but not sure. Does not sound like the fan going on or off. Has anyone else heard these sounds from their devices? I have had no issues reading or writing to the device. I have formatted the drive via the firmware as well.

Any input is appreciated.

Try connecting the power cable into another wall socket, preferably directly to the wall and then check if you still hear the same clicking sound, if you do I recommend you to replace it.

Same issue, the clicking sound is too random to link to any specific functions. I guess I will call and look into an RMA.
