Hi,
I have been using a My net N750 router for Wi-fi connection for months without any problems.
During such months, I changed nothing to the router configuration, router location,…
Unfortunately, during the last week, for an unknown reason, the Wi-fi started to disconnect very often.
To allow the re-connection, I just switch off-on the router and the Wi-fi connection is active again for some minutes or hours.
Would you have any idea of what could lead to such untimely disconnections ?
Thank you in advance for any reply.
Patrick
Hi and welcome to the WD community.
try to do a reset on the unit and then see if you get the same issue. Also i woud like to know if your wired connections have any issues. Here is a link that might help witht he reset process:

Thank you ArMak for your kind reply.
I did the reset as recommended.
But after that and as previously, each time I close my laptop, I have to switch off-on (or to reset) the router.
I checked the wire connections and did not find any issues. (Should I have issues in this matter, I guess that the disconnections should not occur specifically when I close my laptop).
Thank you again if you have any other suggestion.

Hi,
Do you have another wifi device connected to the router that has the same issue ?
Hi ArMak,
A Samsung TV is also connected by Wifi to the router.
Such connection has been in force for months without any problem.
Thank you again if you have any suggestion.
