I have a 4tb MyCloud that i can’t not get the Windows Access program to complete due to a error message that say we detect you mite not be able to change settings or access remotely. It worked originally but have since changed computers or up dated to window 10. I have done a 40 sec reboot and can see and access the drive as a network drive but can’t get a dash board to work or access it via the IP address in a browser or make any changes via http://wdmycloud/UI/.
Are you attempting to access the My Cloud locally or remotely? Generally to setup and configure the My Cloud using the My Cloud Dashboard you need to connect to the My Cloud using a computer on the same local network as the My Cloud.
If setting up the WD Desktop program (and possibly the WD Sync program) to access a remote My Cloud one can use their MyCloud.com login information.
