MyCloud - No Blue Light

My cloud device’s blue light does not come on. When I unplug it and then plug back in, I get a yellow light for about a minute. When I try to sign in, the device is found but will not connect. I tried using a USB to connect directly to my computer (using all ports) and I get a message saying the USB is not supported. I can access MyCloud from my IPad, but not my Mac. What do I need to do?

@solandreb If this is a 1st generation My Cloud the blue LED does go out on them but they still work. Do you know if you have a 1st or 2nd generation My Cloud?

My 1st generation My Cloud blue LED has been out for at least a year, it still works.
