MyCloud Ex2

I’m curious to know if I’m the only one who noticed that when you purchasse a MyCloud EX2 8TB NAS, preconfigured, the capacity is HALF THE ADVERTISED SPACE!! Yes, you get two 8TB drives, which is a total of 8TB, but it is preconfigured in RAID 1, which is MIRROR, and you only get half the capacity they advertise, which is 8TB, and THEY DON’T TELL YOU THAT!!

I don’t know if it’s me, or if anyone else noticed that to get the full 8TB of advertised space, you have to reconfigure the RAID so you get the 8TB of storage that is advertised.

Could someone tell me if they also noticed this, so I know if it’s just me or not? Thanks.
