Mycloud don't open avi in my tv

What is the make and model of the TV?

It is likely that the TV is the problem, if it cannot play the video format used within the .AVI container format. So, you need to find out if it is the TV, or a problem with the MyCloud not serving media properly to DLNA clients.

Is there a way you can access the video files with another device, such as a computer or tablet, running a program such as Kodi? If you can run Kodi, try to connect to your MyCloud using the DLNA server (‘UPnP Devices’), and using the Samba file server (‘Windows network (SMB)’).

Having got the Twonky DLNA server running well on the MyCloud, I wrote an FAQ, but I use the SMB server when using Kodi, as I find it works better than DLNA.
