Mybook world edition 2 not seen as backup target by Smartware Pro

Recently upgraded from WD Anywhere Backup to WD Smartware Pro on a Win 7 64bit PC.
WD Discovery shows the MBWE, as does Win explorer mapped as drives x,y, and z.
But Smartware only shows Dropbox as a backup target.
Could it be that MBWE 2 is not compatible with Smartware?

WD SmartWare does not support the WD My Book World Edition.
