MyBook Essentials Listed in "Devices" But Not As Mapped Drive in "My Computer"

Just bought the MBE 1TB two days ago and hooked it to my laptop today.  USB connected and external power connected.  I see the drive listed in “Devices” but it is not mapped at all.  I am running W7 and do have another 1TB WD external hard drive connected in another USB port.

I have searched the archives with few results, but nothing has helped so far.  The drive is listed as “online” and appears as a disk drive in Device Manager.

Any assistance is appreciated.  Thank you.

If you are using 2 identical drives at the same time it’s probably a signature collision. Does the drive show if it is the only one connected? It could also be a power issue with 2 drives.
