Hi,

i’ve bought an 2TB Book for backing up my Windows Home Server.

Now i have the problem, that i can not format the drive.

If i start the process (from explorer or  drive manager) it works for a while. Then i got the message, that the formatting process could not complete sucessfully.

Any ideas? Or just straight to RMA?

You can try deleting the partition trough Disk Management and then formatting the drive. However, WD has an utility to erase and test the drive , you can get it  here.
