My world book problem finding network

Hello

I have just bought my world book 2tb home network drive, I have attached it to my wireless router and powered it up.

I have then run the disc to find the network, it comes back saying it cannot find the network.

Do you have to set up a new network for the drive or can you just add it as a harddrive to my wireless internet network?

Please help

Does your wireless router have DHCP enabled?

If DHCP server is enabled on your router and each device gets dynamic IP, you should see your WD NAS in connected client list in your router even without running WD Discovery software. After you have discovered IP that way, you can set static IP for your NAS in your router and in WD NAS webinterface.

My NAS shows as normal network share in Windows 7.
