I’m running a factory G-Speed 12TB array and in G-Speed Studio the wizard comes up with all options gray, ghosted out. I am new to this technology, but why would this be the case? How can I change the RAID config?
You have to log into the Software Utility with admin credentials. If on Mac you need to click the padlock in the bottom corner in order to unlock it. And if you want to change the RAID or create one you need to first delete the existing one.
Thanks for getting back to me, Rydia. Yes, I am logged in as admin and the padlock is open. Makes no difference.
As mentioned, you cannot create a new RAID or manage the volume without deleting the original in the RAID array tab. That is the only reason you would have greyed out options.
