I have set timer in utilities to 10 minutes, ultra keeps running after shut down. Turned off timer and shut down computer (HP Spectra running Windows 10) and still runs. Set power to lower setting, shut down and still runs. The lights on Ultra goes off momentarily but comes back on with drive spinning. IF I DON’T disconnect WD Ultra and take power out of charger, WD Ultra runs on battery DISCHARGING IT. i thought utilites would shut down Ultra after timer settings. I DONT WANT TO BE PLUGGING Ultra out of USB everything I shut down.

This might be happening because of the hibernation feature on the computer, sometimes the computer hibernates instead of shutting down and this is why the drive stays on.
