My WD passport error

Hi All 

Can anyone help me i connect my wd passport to my pc or laptop it shows all the folders but there are no files in them 

when i try to disconect its not happening i manually disconect and then plug it back it works shows all files 

and you never know when it will happen again i have only 200gb of space used and i always defrag 

please help this thing is driving me crazy

Try going into Device manager find the external drive and delete the driver for it. Disconnect the drive reboot PC then reconnect drive. That should load a fresh driver. See if that helps.

Thanks for advice i have tried it doesnt work when i try to defrag it gives wierd noise like loud spining noise which never happend before 

I dont know what to do
