My WD elements SE too slow after formatted

Hi I’m using WD Elements SE portable which is guaranteed till 2019.

It was Mac OS. About a month ago, some files I copied in my WD were cracked. I usually copied and pasted lots of video files, and I found around out of 5 files cracked. and sometimes when I copied a file, it didn’t work, just showing ‘error code -36’ or something.

So I formatted WD by disk utility in MAC. Formatting itself didn’t have any trouble. It was done quickly and simply.

But soon after, I found WD became too slow. even just copying about 200GB files takes 10 hours. 10 hours, is it possible? If I copy another file after, it takes ’ a day’. Before that, it wasn’t that slow.

I changed the cable-doesn’t work at all. I formatted it once again-doesn’t work.

I don’t know how to make it fast. I checked WD with disk utility and the result shows it doesn’t have any problem. But this speed has a lot of problem, I think.

How can I fix this? and if it’s out of my boundary, what should I do?
