My Passport Wireless Pro does not appear on desktop

My old Passport Wireless Pro (with the SD Card slot) does not show up on my M1 iMac 24 inch, but does appear on my old iMac 27 inch machine. Is it possible the drive is not compatible with the M1chip computer. Both computers are running on the Ventura OS.

Thanks for getting back to me. I did explore WD Support, but apparently my drive is, I guess, too old for any assistance from support. This did not come directly from any individual, but rather as a response from when I typed in the model’s name into the support page. The drive was purchase in January of 2017.
