I have a My passport Ultra and just purchased a new 4 TB WD essentials to replace it. I want to erase the Passport ultra to use as an extra backup for some data. How do I erase the data and reinstall the factory information that was erased as well . I haven’t been able to find instructions for this. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks for the helpful link. I had to download the WD drive utilities first to erase as I had not done this when new computer purchased, so could not see where to erase. All is good now, erased and all previous software downloaded. Thanks for your answer.
