Hi Everyone,

I am having some trouble with a WD My Passport Ultra 3TB external hard drive. After some recent use the drive suddenly will not be recognized by my imac or any computer I have in the home. It appears in disk utility but cannot be repaired due to “no slices being found”.

The light display is blinking if that matters or not. Not exactly sure what to do and am certainly disappointed by Western Digital when it comes to performance. This drive is less than 2 years old and the second WD drive I have owned that has failed.
