My Passport not working on specific model PC

Hi, I work in a school environment and we have recently updated a department with some new machines, and one teacher has a My Passport drive that is not being recognised on these machines.

I have updated the SES drivers for the Passport on these PCs, updated USB controller drivers on the PC however it still doesn’t get recognised. I can see that it momentarily is assigned a drive letter by Disk Management, but it disappears not long afterwards.

The PC is running Windows 10 Education, and I should mention the drive works perfectly well in all other hardware around the school.

Can anyone help!

Thanks,
Michael

It could be a power issue. What happens if you replace your unit’s USB 3.0 cable with a Micro USB 2.0 cable in order to force legacy mode and reduce power requirements?
