some kind of cracking sound will come sometimes from my western digital passport essential.
please suggest some solution.
Do you mean clicking sound? If so, then that can be normal, if it’s occasional. It’s most likely the heads parking. If you want, you can check the drive with our DLG Diagnostic utility.
