My Passport 250GB not recognized by Windows on any computer

Hi all,

For some reason just recently my Windows XP installation no longer recognizes by external drive when I connect it via USB to the computer. I have tried it on 3 or 4 other computers and the same problem.

I have much data on it and am looking for a way to recover that data. Initial searches on the Internet have revealed nothing.

Can anyone please help who has had this type of experience previously?

go to your wd smartware and enter your password and the drive will show back up
