My Passport 1 TB detected but not showing my data

Hi,

I have a serious problem. I have WD My passport 1TB drive, When I connect it with my PC ,it detects my drive in My computer, but doesn’t show my data.I have 367 GB of data into my drive.Whereas when I go into the properties it shows me 367 GB full. How can I see my data on my drive.It shows only one icon which is “System Value Information” & the other software’s  for WD installation . I am using Windows XP.

Please help me to solve the above problem.

How did you transfer the files to the drive?

It cold be two things : hidden files or file corruption

check the drive for problems with chkdsk and make sure those folders are not hidden
