My external hard disk (My Passport 0730) has stopped working. The PC recognizes it but won’t let me explore the disk. Then the drive disconnects on its own and re-connects again and do the same again. I tried connecting it to another PC, same thing happened. I tried testing it with Data Lifeguard Diagnostics for Windows , but the software freezes when I connect the hard disk to the PC…
Is there anything I can do or the disk needs replacing?
