I recently delted a very large Norton backup file from the drive and have been trying to clean it up, but when I turned on the computer the other day the WD drive spins up, clicks about 3 times then stops but the light stays on. I have no access to it on my computer. I’d like to get the files off if possible. I have tried different power cords and USB cords, but nothing changes.
If the hard drive is clicking you probably need to contact a data recovery company to recover your files.
