My motherboard doesn't read my ssd of 1tb

My motherboard is Msi mpg x570 carbon pro wifi and I updated the bios and either read the ssd and ssd is Western Digital WDS100T2B0B Solid State Drives, 1000 GB, 3.5-Inch please help

you probably need to enable UEFI Legacy mode in the BIOS

or if you add a brand new disk to your PC and it doesn’t show up in File Explorer, you must initialize it before you can use it.

That’s assuming you’re already running an OS an adding another drive as a slave.

I assumed the OP is trying to use the drive as a “Boot Drive” … which if it is not recognized you won’t even get as far as an OS booting let alone ‘File Explorer’
