My DVR Expander nd the Scientific Atlanta DVR are compitible. However, after playing recorded TV programs and using the fast forward over serveral recordings the DVR (or the WD) fails to record programed movies. After disconnecting the power from the DVR and WD the devices work fine until I use the fast-forward button over a period. I suspect that static electricity is building up as I use the fast forward in either the DVR or the WD. Anyone hs suggecstion as to what can be done to eliminate this problem?
