My Cloud OS3 not locally accessible anymore

My Cloud HD was working fine till last April 15. After this date, when Remote Access was terminated, coincidentally it also stopped working on my local network.

I had understood that local access would continue after the above deadline. So, I can only conclude that it was a misfortune that my HD stopped working completely after that date.

I cannot access it anymore on My Cloud Dashboard. Have done a 40 second reset but it did not fix the problem.

Orange and green Leds on the ethernet connector are blinking but the frontal Led is solid orange.

What else could I do to make it accessible again on my local network?

Cheers,

MAB.

Have your device connected to your home network router. Give it a static/reserved address. Turn Internet Access off. Have you tried \\WDMYCLOUD to access your device? Are you using Windows?

Mine is working fine. See image below that shows Cloud Access Status. Click on, tap, or activate image to enlarge it.

Thank you for your reply!

The Dashboard is not accessible anymore…

Cheers,

MAB.
