My Cloud OS 5 android app photo sync folder

Using My Cloud OS 5 android app (4.12.1). As far as I can tell the only way to sync photos from the phone using this is through a folder the app itself sets up on the NAS. There appears to be no way the user can select a folder. Like most people, I am guessing, I already have folder for photos set up on my NAS, so can users be allowed to choose folders and folder names? Why this wasn’t built in to the app I have no idea.
