It’d be your router’s IP.
The app uses the WAN IP address of your router, and external ports mapped to the 80 and 443 ports of your NAS on your local network.
To find this addess, the app uses info tracked on the WD Servers when you enable remote access on your NAS.
This is necessary for several reasons, including that your WAN can change, depending on your ISP (dynamic IP allocation on the WAN side).
I’m unable to connect to the WAN unless I turn UPnP on in my router settings.
