If there is another means to post suggestions for the My Cloud Home IOS app please let me know.
Otherwise here is my suggestion.
Why can’t the IOS app have a sort option based on the ‘create date’ of the photos? It currently only offers sort by ‘modified date’ which is worthless since that date is set based on upload into the My Cloud device and is not at all relevant to the date of the photo.

Yes I have. The IOS phone app seems to be doing the sort by modification dare correctly but the problem is there is no app option to sort by create date. When you upload photos from the phone the modified date becomes the upload date so the current sort option is rather worthless.
There should be another sort option in the app for create date.
