My cloud home duo set up

Hi i purchased a my cloud home duo 16tb set it up as the instructions said set up a my cloud account i does not see the device the device has a slow breathing light im not very technical but this has been plugged in for over 24hrs. I have just swithed my imac on and go into network and can see the device. Any help would be appreciated thanks
