My cloud home duo failed

Following discussions with support it appears my home cloud duo is just out of support but since all the changes and firmware updates required it has failed to instll the last FW update and is now “bricked”.

I am trying to understand if there is a way to use the disks in another NAS enclosure, or is there a way to download a FW update and update via USB.
Also if i put two new hdd in the WD enclosure will it automatically download the FW and fix itself?

I do not know if the enclosure has failed or its the drives themselves.

I do have a QNAP arriving this afternoon with 2 Toshiba disks (following this episode and being denied support because I am 1 week out) i will not give any more of my money to WD.

Any pointers from the community is welcome…
