My Cloud EX2 Ultra · Red Light on Disc 1 Error 36

I’ve had a My Cloud EX 2 Ultra with two 8 TB discs since 2018.
I managed to upgrade to OS5 a couple of years ago, not sure how because I haven’t got a clue of anything about this, still everything has been working fine till now.
Since yesterday, Disc 1 has a solid red light and the unit is working non stop.
I have a message that says: "File system check error
The file system check has detected errors in the disk configuration. Please backup your data and recreate the disk configuration to resolve these errors. Code 36"

Does backup your data mean I have to make a copy on an external drive, because I have about 4TB of files, and no external drive of that size to make a backup; is it possible to make an internal backup or would there be a risk of loosing the files?

I daren’t touch or do anything in case there is a risk of losing all the data.

Any suggestions are welcomed.
Please keep in mind I am a complete beginner.

Yes, you need to find external 4Gb disk and make backup your NAS… Or backup all on PC disks by LAN
