I have an issue that I don’t know how to solve.
I have My Cloud Ex2 Ultra connected to wifi router provided by Telus. (support 2.3g) Internet connection 150mb
I have two laptops:
MacBook pro 2017 (Call it NEW) OS 12 WIFI module ac
MacBook Pro 2009 (call it OLD) OS 10 WIFI module n
Both laptop located at the same room with My Cloud.
Transfering speed (Black magic disck):
NEW. - 0.5 - 1.5. Mb
OLD. - 20-30 Mb
Almost the same speed shows on settings screen on M Cloud device.
I decided to transfer the same 8gb file separately.
NEW - it took 16 hours
Next day I tried OLD - it took 15 min.
WD support service could not help me.
Apple service said the issue with the filling system NEW has AFPS and OLD EXFAT.
WD service told me that the filing system doesn’t matter.
What is your opinion? Any suggestion to fix it
