If the function “Safepoint” on the “My Cloud (one disc)” allows that device to creat a safepoint to a “My Cloud EX2”, so, if the “My Cloud EX2” has the function “Safepoint”, besides everything people said above, this device (“My Cloud EX2”) would be able to creat a backup (safepoint) to a “My Cloud (one disc)”.

I just can not understand why the hell “My Cloud (one disc)” can creat a backup (safepoint) to a “EX2”, and the “EX2” can NOT backup to the “My Cloud (one disc)”. It is totally senseless!

This could be in part because EX 2 drives have more capacity than the normal My Cloud, however you could try use a sync software, that might help you with this.

I have an EX2 that has 4gb and a My Cloud with 4gb. What’s the poin?
