My Cloud app cannot connect with My Cloud Mirror gen 2

I was in the middle of deleting photo files from the MCM using the My Cloud app on an iPad Pro, when suddenly contact was lost with the MCM device.
I have not been able to connect either with the app or via the device manager and IP address.
The device is still connected to the network and works with my music media player.

Ok, fixed now, pressed reset button, should have done that before but was afraid it would mess up the media player and void all my play lists (which happens when powering down without hibernating first, so with any sort of power cut).
It didn’t, so all is now well.
