My cloud 4TB, after firmware update doesnt work

I have now had 2 new WD my cloud 4tb devices (WDBCTL0040HWT), with each one i have got the device out of the box and connected uo to the network, within minutes i could configure the devices to problem at all.

During the firmware update both devices hung on the device is rebooting screen. this went on for over 20 minutes. I have not removed power from the device as instructed but can no longer access, view or configure the device in any way. i have tried via app, web interface and also the my cloud config software.

Can someone please help and advise on what todo next?

Next time, download the firmware file first on your computer, then use the Manual Update option.
