i want t use acronis to copy the HDD 2TB to a new 1TB HDD, works it?

If you are trying to copy the My Cloud Dashboard settings along with your data from one My Cloud to another a backup program like Acronis won’t be able to do that. Acronis (or any file/backup software) will only backup the user data/files from one device to another. One thing to keep in mind. If your 2TB drive has more than 1TB of user data then you won’t be able to copy all the data over to the smaller 1TB drive.
