Hello guys
So my friend has the disk stated and it was working all ok. Then he plugged accidentally a 20V adapter on and it din’t work. After I checked I realised it needs a 12V adapter, plugged it in there is a steady white flash blinking but the disk doesn’t show up at all.
There is the big possibility that the problem is the thunderbolt cable and it’s coming tomorrow to test.
In case the problem is not the cable it should be the controller right?
In case it is the controller just ordering a fresh controller should work?
My biggest concern is that he doesn’t remember if the drives were on a raid and if so what kind of raid.
Is it possible to re create the RAID without corrupting any files? Is it gonna work simply by plugging them straight in a Windows set up?
