My Book Thunderbolt Duo

Hi, I bought this RAID external HDD about 4 years and its run with 2 x 2tb WD caviar green disks all that time. I believe that these green disks are being discontinued and so clearly I need to replace both before one fails. Will the red, blue and black versions work in the enclosure if replaced as pairs
?? I emailed the support team but didnt get anywhere.

Yes, all the drive would work but I would recommend you to get the WD Black drive to get the better performance.

I have My Book Thunderbolt Duo 2 x 2 TB in Raid 0. I wanted to reset the drive to factory settings, there’s no reset button the drive enclosure. How does one reset the drive to factory settings? Also, I was told by someone else in WD that the only drive now supported for the My Book Thunderbolt Duo is the RED drive, is that correct or can I use the Black Drive instead?

To add some info I tried using Disc Utility to erase the drive in APFS format. The Drive is now not recognised by WD drive Utilities hence my question about resetting it to factory settings.
