MY Book - problem

Hello,
I am purchased a new computer.

When I plugged in WD My Book, I can hear it running and the computer recognizes the devise.

However, when I try to install the software I receive an error stating that we have experianced a problem and thus cannot install the program.

Kindly assist.

@urivo, Please share the error screenshot message along with the application in order to do the needful.

Also, The My Book drive is a plug-and-play external storage device and will show up on the File Explorer as an external drive when you plug the device into the USB port of the computer.

The drive will show up under the computer’s file explorer as a removable storage drive and you can transfer data to the drive using copy/paste or drag/drop method
