My external drive (In Subject) crashed a few days ago and i cant recover the files from it. So i came to terms with that and wiped and reformatted the drive. The problem im having is that i can write to the drive but all files become immediately corrupt and i cant pull files from the drive, neither through eSata or USB 2.0. Does anyone know a fix?

Seems you still have a bad USB connection. Use eSATA if applicable for you.

Delete the partition and create a new NTFS partition with 64K unit alloction size. Format using full option (Not quick option) if that fails,
