Clearly indicate on the box what the software that comes with this drive is not suitable for use on.
I recently purchased 3 @ 3tb units to use on Windows Essentials 2012. I was in the process of switching servers (moving from a file server to a domain) so I backed up and restored on the weekend so as there would be no office down time. What a surprise Monday morning when I started getting questions of where is this file? Found many files, and all empty folders did not get backed up and some files were restored to wrong folders.
Also, checking the website product literature for suitability did not provide any insight.
Very disappointed as all went well except for the backup and restore.
