I am have troubel getting MY BOOK to power up. to be honest i may have plug it in using the wrong power converter. Did i destroy the unit or can i reset it some way.  When i plug it in nothing happnes.

If you used the wrong power adapter you damaged the circuit board. Look at the posts by fzabkar he has helped people bypass the problem.
