I formatted My Book following the instructions provided by WD support. Using Windows 10, I went into disk management to format My Book. Since then My Book gives an error message “unable to backup files to My Book. Please make sure your drive is connected and accessible.”
I have contacted WD support a dozen times trying to rectify the problem, but whatever they suggest doesn’t work.
What if anything can be done to fix it?
